Preview: The Friars (5-3) will look to rebound from their tough loss to URI with a win tonight over RIval Brown University (4-6).  The Bears come into the game riding three straight loses and has been picked to finsih last among the Ivy’s.  There common opponents have included a loss to URI and a win over Bryant.  Brown is led by All-Ivy pick, forward Matt Mullery.  Mullery is averaging over 16 points a game but doesn’t recieve too much help outside of forward Peter Sullivan.  Tonights game will be the 118th meeting between Brown and Providence with PC holding the 89-26 series advantage.

PFB Perspective: There isn’t too much to think about going into this game.  Last game was a difficult loss, but losing shouldn’t even be on the radar tonight.  It is the same things as always.  Marshon , Greedy, and Sharaud need to have strong performances.  We are looking Marshon to have a consistent performance though.  Also we would like to see if B-Mac can keep his offense going and build some more confidence back up in himself.  Another solid rebounding and scoring performance from him would be nice to see.

Since this game shouldn’t be all too close we are also looking got see the freshman get minutes.  Johnnie Lacy should get a chance to show what he can do against weaker competition so look to see what he does with the time he is given.  Otherwise there is not too much else to say except we hope that Brown freshman celebrity, Emma Watson makes a guest appearance at the game.  If she sat behind the PC bench she could distract the Friars and lead the Bears to victory.  But besides her, Brown has no one person who is going to beat PC, and the Bears should not be able to hang with PC’s athleticism.  But maybe if EmmHopefully a strong 40 minute performance is what we see tonight.
