One of the names catching the most attention this summer on the recruiting circuit hasjj-moore

been Long Island Small Forward, J.J. Moore.  Moore has quickly become the object of attention for many Big East coaches.  Louisville, UConn, and Pittsburgh have all shown interest.  Adam Zagoria of Zagsblog spoke to Moore’s adviser Hunt Bresky who had this to say following Moore’s visit to PC…

“I think J.J. was really impressed with the new coach and what they’re trying to build over there and he’s also impressed with the financial investment that the school and community has invested into making the program top notch… He was really pleasantly surprised by the whole experience…”

Zagsblog reported that Moore planned to take trips to Pittsburgh and St. John’s this week.

images J.J. Moore, despite the recent attention he has been receiving, is still a  2010 sleeper.  It’s this kind of player that PC really has a chance to bring in: an underrated player with immense potential.  He is getting looks from some serious schools but was impressed with what PC has to offer.

Moore is a high energy, high enthusiasm player.  With his size and athletic ability, as well as his solid outside shot, he could really fit into the up-tempo system the Coach Keno Davis is trying to develop.  PC is already off to a great start in 2010 with two solid verbals, but we’ll see how this plays out and keep you updated on any developments.
